The Best Breaks for Customer Service Week

Sharing a meal provides a comfortable setting for conversation, strengthens relationships, and builds team bonds.

During Customer Service Week there are lots of ways to incorporate meals and snacks into your celebration. Consider these ideas for any time of day:

  • Early morning. Start the day with donuts and coffee, or for the more health conscious, a granola and fruit bar with a selection of juices and herbal teas. Send everyone back to their desk with a Mission: Possible Travel Mug.
  • Mid-day. Host a pot luck, cook-off, or catered lunch. Popular cook-off themes are crock-pot specialties, savory soups, and, of course, chili. Print out Customer Service Week Table Tents to label each of the dishes. You don’t want to mix up the chili and the vegetarian chili. (Table Tents are a Ready-To-Use download.)
  • Afternoon. Consider mocktails and nibbles, milk and cookies, or tea and scones with strawberry preserves and whipped cream.

If reps can’t take a break together, visit them at their desks with a coffee and tea trolley, or load up your trolley with everything you need to make custom ice cream sundaes, or drop off Lunch Bags and 2-Section Lunch Containers packed with sandwiches and dessert. Your team will use them all year long.
