Stress Relief Gifts for Service Teams

Everyone on the service team should have at least one stress reliever on their desk. Because, let’s face it, customer service work can be stressful.

Stress relievers allow reps to shift gears and refocus attention for just a moment so that tension is reduced and negative feelings don’t spill over into customer interactions.

This year we’ve got four great stress relievers for your team, our signature Rocket Stress Ball, Squeezy Peezy Stress Ball, Lavender Reed Diffuser, and Mini Zen Garden.

Our staff just loves the Rocket Stress Ball. The Customer Service Week logo comes to life in this 4-1/2″ stress ball in the week’s official colors.

Made from durable polyurethane foam, this fun fidget will withstand stressful times and keep moving Above & Beyond.

Thirst-Quenching Gifts for Service Teams

It’s easy for service professionals to become dehydrated when they’re talking to customers all day.

The solution to remaining comfortable and hydrated is to keep plenty of fluids close at hand. And what better way than with Customer Service Week bottles and mugs. They all boast the Customer Service Week logo and spill-proof lids — because no one wants to deal with a spill while working with a customer.

One of our most practical offerings is simply called the Desk Mug. It is based on mugs originally used by sailors to prevent spills in rough weather. It has a low-profile, a wide-base with non-skid bottom, and a thumb-slid opening that makes it practically 100 percent spill-proof.

The mug holds 16 fluid ounces and its double-wall insulation will keep hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold.

Decorate Like a Pro

Decorations set the tone for your entire Customer Service Week celebration. And when they feature the Above and Beyond logo your decor will be coordinated, polished, and professional.

The Customer Service Week decorations include posters, banners, balloons, and pennants. One of our favorites is the Mini Poster Pack. The minis are both practical and fun. They are sized for smaller spaces and individual work areas. And they include humorous and inspiring variations on the Customer Service Week theme.

They say:

Providing out of this world service

Going above & beyond for customers

The sky is the limit

Houston, we solved a problem!

Each mini poster measures 8″ x 12″ and is printed on sturdy card stock. For additional details, view the Mini Poster Pack now.

Practical Gifts for Service Teams

Monitor Mirror

Every workspace should be comfortable, organized, and filled with desktop essentials. When those essentials feature the Customer Service Week logo, something ordinary becomes a special year-round reminder of your team’s celebration.

So fill each rep’s workspace with tools they will use again and again like Customer Service Week Note Pads and Pens, Sticky Notes, Keyboard Calendars, Fuzzy Finger Dusters, and Monitor Mirrors.

Our staff is loving the new Monitor Mirrors. Each mirror displays the Customer Service Week logo and the words “Your Smile Can Be Heard.” It’s a wonderful year-round reminder about the value of having a smile in your voice.

Mirrors are 3″ x 4″ and include adhesive mounting squares on each corner.

Ready to Use Puzzles Are Here

The Customer Service Week website has been updated with 23 at-your-desk puzzles and games created just for Customer Service Week.

You’ll find word puzzles, math puzzles, and logic puzzles. There are traditional single-player puzzles and two-player games. There are even some puzzles that can be solved as a team with pool noodles!

If you’re celebrating in the office, simply print the puzzles and distribute throughout the week.

If your team is remote, send puzzles home. Reps will fill in the blanks, save, and return. No printer is needed.

There are four new puzzles plus many favorites like the popular Mixed-Up Meaning puzzle — It’s a deceptively simple puzzle to challenge even the most detail-oriented person.

With so many puzzles to choose from, there’s an at-your-desk puzzle for each day of the week. Puzzles are available when you place your Customer Service Week order.

Sample Agenda 2 – Something for Every Remote Team

Remote celebrations have a lot in common with on-site events, but they can be a little more complicated.

Just like on-site celebrations, some last a single day, others are five full days of activities and recognition. No matter what you choose, the heart of your remote agenda is the Above & Beyond Gift Box. These colorful boxes are packed with gifts and delivered right to reps’ doors in late-September.

Here’s the agenda:

Two to three weeks in advance. Distribute Save the Date Cards to everyone who will be celebrating. Select a Remote Ready puzzle and a Remote Ready Activity for each day. (These are available in the Ready to Use section of CSWeek.com.)

Monday. Gather your group for an online kick-off. Thank reps for going Above & Beyond for customers, then count down to open the gift boxes. 10, 9, 8, 7 …

After everyone has oohed and aahed over their gifts, ask them to set up their work spaces and share a photo with the group leader.

Tuesday. Share work-space photos via your communication platform. Now, try to match the home office to its owner. “Who’s got that great desk lamp?” “Is that someone’s cat behind the monitor?” Sharing work spaces will spark a new level of team connection.

Wednesday. Ask everyone to sign on to a special presentation from your organization’s president or CEO. If everyone can’t join at the same time, record the presentation and make it available throughout the day.

Thursday. Start the day online with coffee and the Customer Service Week Getting to Know You activity. It’s a fun way to connect and learn more about each other.

Friday. Tally up the scores from all of the week’s puzzles and activities. Gather online to announce the first, second, and third place winners, and maybe a few special winners, such as “best effort” and “really doesn’t like puzzles.”

An expanded version of this agenda is online, along with celebration stories, and tips.
